Integrated and Modular: Both Realized in One Camera

DJI Ronin 4D offers a completely unique design. Crafted with carbon fiber and aluminum magnesium, its solid body integrates the imaging, stabilization, and focusing systems, as well as wireless transmission and control. This avoids time-consuming setup and enables quicker shooting.

Integrated Gimbal Camera

Ronin 4D integrates the imaging and stabilization systems while keeping only the sensor and necessary optical components in the gimbal camera. The tilt axis of the gimbal uses dual symmetric motors, whereas both the pan axis and the roll axis are designed with an additional stiffness buffer.

Interchangeable Lens Mount

X9 supports DJI’s proprietary DL mount, as well as Leica L, Leica M, Sony E, ARRI PL, and more. Lenses compatible with these mounts can also be used with X9.

Autofocus on Manual Lenses

With the LiDAR focusing system and focus motor, autofocus is available even on manual lenses. In Automated Manual Focus mode, the focus wheel will rotate in sync as the focus point changes, but cinematographers can take manual control at any point.

Video Transmission Performance

Ronin 4D uses the all-new DJI O3 Pro Video Transmission technology, which offers a 20,000-foot transmission range that would be unimaginable on traditional solutions. In addition to 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, it supports the DFS frequency band and an AES 256-bit encryption algorithm that can output a 1080p/60fps FHD

Full-frame 8K/60fps & 4K/120fps

Zenmuse X9 supports internal recording of Apple ProRes RAW, ProRes 4444 XQ, ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 LT, and H.264 video, and up to 8K/60fps and 4K/120fps full-frame video recording. It also supports the ACES workflow.

Dual-native ISO 800/4000

X9-8K defaults to EI 320/1600. With Dynamic Range Expansion on, X9-8K can support EI 800/4000, while X9-6K supports EI 800/5000, allowing it to capture footage with exquisite detail and minimal noise.

4-Axis Active Stabilization

The Z-Axis effectively eliminates vertical camera shake and works with visual sensors and ActiveTrack Pro to let you create smooth, stable footage effortlessly.

Extendable Solution

The new extendable solution, Ronin 4D Flex, reduces the handheld weight down to 1.8 kg, which is only around 34% of the original weight, making it superbly useful for cinematographers who require long-duration shooting, especially in mobile scenarios like recording documentaries, interviews, or events.

Wireless Transmission and Control Range

O3 Pro Video Transmission Technology adds DFS frequency bands and enables 1080p/60fps video transmission. It supports one transmitter with multiple receivers and can remotely control gimbal, focusing, and camera settings.
